    Does he really think this is going to improve in San Francisco. The ball f***ing dies there at night lol.

    If he didn't want play here its a lot less upsetting news. But he said himself multiple times during the Season he wanted to re-sign. But if they knew all this "early" in the off-season how the f*** was IKF the fall back plan.

    As it stands currently. I got them winning between 80-83 games. Think they are banking way to much on bounce back performance. When outside of the Jansen and Bo injuries the Jays had almost perfect health last year especially from the Rotation. Feel this lineup has taken a step back and will struggle to score runs. Major concerns about 2B and 3B. Jury is out on LF and we know we aren't getting offense from CF. George Springer actually stayed healthy last year but was nowhere near the player he has been in the past. Outfield offensively also a massive concern for me. I'm going to go 83-79 and they miss the 3rd wild card spot by 4 games.

    Absolute failure to not bring back Chapman at that number.

    MLB Free Agency is such a disaster. If they aren’t going to do a salary cap they need to put in a salary floor or something. Force some of these teams to spend some money. It’s embarrassing teams like A’s, Pirates, Rays, Reds, ect get away with this s***. These top players should have homes at market value. And they won’t get it because tons of teams refuse to spend money.

    But with IKF, Biggio, and Espinal already in place its hard to image him pushing one of those guys out. He for sure won't push IKF out. He's Spring Training depth but I would hard for me to imagine him wanting him to spend a big chunk of this Season at AAA.

    I don't hate having some power off the bench. But this seems like a weird move to sign the fattest guy in Baseball. After trying to convince your current players to get in shape lol.

    I don't seen any avenue for him on this roster. So I guess he's just here to have fun.

    No he wasn’t obese enough to have excessive loose skin. Everyone has places they put on weight first. For most its belly, chest or glutes. Its very difficult to lose weight from that spot you gain weight first. Its why love handles is the biggest pain spot for most. Those fat cells are still in your body making it easier to put it all back on. Its why putting on muscle is the best form of weight loss because it destroys more of those cells. You can lose weight a variety of ways. But someone who just does cardio and no resistance training is way more likely to put the weight back on. His body is looking very muscular and athletic. Consistency throughout the Season will be his next big hurdle. Eating on the road is probably tough for him.

    First time I have seen his chest and arms look muscular and defined. He will only loose that pouch if he gets to certain level of body fat percentage. If he stays consistent he will get there. Its the hardest place to lose weight.

    We don't want IKF on our 40-man roster either. If they were going to piss money down the drain I could think of better ways.

    Isn't IKF projected for not much higher at the MLB level. Plus Otto Lopez had a couple injuries last year and he got off to an absolute horrendous start. I am willing to bet steamer has them close.

    Anyone else feel Otto Lopez would probably be more valuable to an MLB Roster right now over IKF? I can see Lopez making the Giants and playing a lot for them.

    I can see why Leafs fans don't want Reilly suspended. Him missing 5 or 6 games could be huge. Leafs are only 4 points from being outside of the playoffs which is crazy considering how stacked that Forward core is.

    Jays will be all over Bellinger if the years come down. I don't think he would want to do another show me contract. But if its 1 year 25-30m he probably has to seriously consider it. That way both he and his agent can still come out looking ok.

    I didn't want Soler for 3 years and that was clear what he was holding out for. Obviously he could be very good for those 3 years but he has some extreme peaks and valleys in is career. 2-years would have been fine. I am happy with the Turner contract if they can get another Outfield bat.

    Nothing wrong with slapping the puck hard home and icing the game. People are acting like he rode his hockey stick like a Cowboy and taunted the bench. Morgan Reilly’s reaction was childish and he’s clearly very sensitive but don’t think he should be suspended. I have seen players get away with much worse. Players really need to stop being a spas and hitting each other with sticks. Think the league needs stricter drug testing. These guy’s might not be juicing but I feel a lot of them are on TRT and explains the anger.

    I have seen players miss the open net when they try lob or guide the puck in on an open net. Maybe he just wanted to make sure it went in. It’s a mental thing.

    I'm convinced Mark Shapiro hit IKF with his car intoxicated. And instead of a lawsuit gave him this contract. Only thing that makes sense.
