  1. Even more impressive that he's 41.
  2. Watching this on Gameday is quite anticlimactic. But enjoying the results!
  3. Not a good look but as long as its consistent on both sides of the spectrum I don't have a problem with it. Having been living in the US since June for work. Even in Texas the sentiment isn't really negative towards Canada. They do hate the booing of the Anthem which I also don't like but understand why.
  4. Kind of shocked Barnes even made the team. He didn’t even have a good Spring. If they weren’t going to go with another long man like Yarbrough. Someone like Mason Fluharty made a lot more sense and he actually looked good this Spring.
  5. Well the good news is it couldn’t have gone any worse and they play again tomorrow. Losing Opening Day usually especially sucks because you often get the scheduled day off.
  6. Eflin sucks. Game still very winnable. Tyler O’Neil turns into Micky Mantle on Opening Day.
  7. I literally had to do a double and triple take when I saw him in the cleanup spot. I looked on 3 different apps just to see if the first 2 got it wrong.
  8. Happy Baseball Eve Everybody!
  9. Honestly this is a steal if he stays healthy. Tidy piece of business.
  10. Feel like a few guys have jumped him on the depth chart. Should begin the year in low leverage and work his way back into an important roll. And that all depends if hes actually going to be healthy because the jury is very much out on that as well.
  11. Either Vladdy and his Agent know something the rest of us don’t know or he’s going to get extremely humbled on the Open Market. That is an absurd figure.
  12. Nothing he ie beautiful. Just strap in and enjoy the ride every time he’s on the mound.
  13. Santander got delayed due to Visa issues. It’s not really shocking he’s starting slow. Still plenty of time for these guys to get at-bats and ready for the Season.
  14. Well doesn’t look like Varsho’s power got impacted lol, 2 games and 2 homeruns, Lets hope he is cleared to throw soon.
  15. The fact that David Robertson is still available is crazy to me. I can’t imagine him holding out for a multi year deal at 39. Jays should be all over that. Still posting an elite K rate. I don’t see at-bats for JDM. He’s s full time DH. Basically forces Vlad and Santander into the field full time. And takes at-bats away from guys like Wagner.
  16. Probably Pat Borders. Will say Kelly Gruber to be different.
  17. Aliens actually. We won’t return him until the Shatkins era wins one playoff game.
  18. He’s been basically a 5 Win player twice now. I don’t even think he’s been the best offensive version of himself with the Jays. 4 wins with almost his Defense alone might be his floor. As for the fire into the sun comment. That really was an emotional reaction to some bad at-bat. I did say it though so I will own it. With that being said I obviously want Daulton Varsho to be healthy and the best version of himself. I will also admit I tend to get attached to our prospects at times. Gabriel Moreno was tough to part with even with the concerns he would never hit for power. I think looking back 2 years both teams benefited from trading from a position of strength at the time. Crazy how the Jays went from basically having 3 Starting calibre catchers to now its Kirk and not much else on the horizon. Kirk is very important to this team and until framing is ultimately eliminated by robo umps it’s invaluable to steal as many strikes as he does. Plus I think we all believe there is way more with the bat. Seems like his Power is returning this Spring. Looks in better shape as well.
  19. I understand the concern and only time will tell how the injury will impact him long term. My brother and I were talking about this the other day. Even without throwing he’s still a phenomenal route runner and gets elite jumps on the Baseball when it’s hit. Whether hes 100 percent or not he’s still a massive asset in CF. And I doubt they would be letting him play in games at this point of Spring if there were any concerns of a set back. His 20-25 Homerun is important to this lineup as well, And ofcourse he doesnt get on base a lot but hes an excellent base runner when he does.
  20. I mean watching him hit sometimes is painful. Fire out of cannon and land in CF. Happy compromise?
