He throws both a fastball and sinker both over 95 MPH. Has a slider and rarely throws a curve or his circle change. Everything out of the pen is hard thats why is stuff plays up but if he wants to be effective as a starter hes going to need that circle change. Even his curve is pretty hard. I think hes best out of the pen but he does have 5 pitches its an intriguing option. Its very rare for a pitcher who was topping out at 91 to be hitting 97-98. Being in the pen will tick his velo up but not that much. Hes a different pitcher and that sinker has helped him keep the ball in the park his big problem in the past.
