  1. Another ugly inning.
  2. Wow.. LOL Just horrendous from Martin and Bautista..
  3. Great thread, thanks for posting! Love Tim and Sid, especially when they do stuff like this. Chacin Cologne LOL.
  4. Please average at least 8 runs per game on this road trip!
  5. Everyone give your energy to the Jays lol. Spirit Bomb time.
  6. Our pitching development has been decent-good, but the player development hasn't. How many good everyday players has our MiLB system developed in the past 5 years?
  7. Yep. Great contact rates and high OBP. We don't need high SLG in this lineup; especially if we re-sign Edwin.
  8. Unless we make it to the WS, I think he's gone.
  9. Bud Black's a great pick. Wish we could have pried away Tito when we had the chance before the end of 2015. As long as the solution isn't Eric Wedge, since he's very much a step backwards.
  10. A lot of the Hockey/Bandwagon fans loved Gibbons, and Shapiro didn't want to feed the opinion that they were coming to clean-house. Instead, they are gradually doing it. I feel Gibbons, Jacoby, and even Walker are probably gone after this season. Shapiro/Atkins will want saber-metrics influenced coaches in place of all three going forward, because, going from Cleveland, it's their MO and is also how to get the most out of your players. It's proof with the performance of Cleveland, the Dodgers, and the Cubs this season.
  11. Got to love Gibby leaving Pillar and Carerra to hit.
  12. We need a Dave Roberts type of manager next. We need a guy that adopts data/saber-metrics and makes calculated decisions. A lackadaisical loafer sitting in the dugout making awful bullpen/lineup decisions every night can't be great for motivating the players.
  13. There's a good chance he's gone even if we do.
  14. And that's why pitching to contact is horrendous. You can't have a 6 K/9 guy in the bullpen..
  15. I don't understand how this offense can fail so much without trying to make adjustments?
  16. It's definitely Stroman. I wouldn't call him stupid though, just incredibly stubborn. He seems to always shake off followed by getting punished for it. He just doesn't seem to learn from mistakes for some reason?
