  2. Please, PLEASE, destroy this Phil Kessel lookalike Storen!!
  3. Yep. Gibby is as old school as it gets.
  4. Throw strikes come on Marco.
  5. Ump show, but too close to take.
  6. Bunting aside, this has been fun to watch the past 2 innings.
  7. Damn big stadium lol. That was crushed.
  8. I know he has but it was still a terrible AB.
  9. Reverse jinx worked? Mission accomplished
  10. This f***ing offense haha. RISP with 0 outs = stranded.
  11. My God... just atrocious... Travis should be embarrassed
  12. Travis has to cut that swing down. It's so long on breaking balls.
  13. Nice contact Eddy! I'd like to see more of them shortening up with 2 strikes.
  14. We're going to K 15 times tonight.
  15. Great start offense. Take FB down the middle and proceed to K.
  16. Yep. I think Bautista is offered a 2-yr 30-40m deal to rebuild his value and Edwin is offered a 4-5 yr deal, both on the back of the increase in revenues and the correlation with their star power. It's an excellent question to ask. Increased resources will allow for more risk so some of those die rolls are possible. It seems that Shapiro agreed that they need to stay competitive for 2-3 yrs (even if they're old) until the high potential prospects are ready to contribute.
  17. From that interview of PTS, where Bobcat was obviously trying to goud Shapiro into discussing available resources and probably put extra pressure on Rogers, it seems that Shapiro and Beeston can re-sign Edwin and Bautista if they feel it's the correct direction, without worry about ownership push-back.
  18. A guy like Dave Robert's would be nice. A saber-metric driven manager who makes the best possible decisions using numbers instead of his gut would be great.
  19. How about a little energy in that dugout? The camera pan in there most days look like they're in a funeral parlor. The head down morose looks after every poor AB was never seen at any point last year, even when they were a .500 team. The "wait and see/it's early" mindset/comments from team members/coaches were never there last season but have been here all season long in 2016, even up to now. They never EXPECTED to just magically be better because of individual pedigrees, they did everything they could to force it with excellent ABs and low offensive K totals. Some will laugh at the terms "team chemistry" or "tenacity" but they very much are a thing, and from most interviews I've heard, ranging from Stephen Brunt to Dan Shulman, that clubhouse is as solemn and quiet as it's been in years. Apparently, they came into camp "cocky" instead of "hungry" - Shulman.
  20. Wow, I can't believe how low his K/9 is LOL. And we were worried about Stroman earlier lol.
  21. That's the biggest thing. No one looks to give a f*** about the free-fall.
