  1. But I thought weak contact isn't a thing.
  2. The Blue Jays are. And that's the only team I care about. If I'm not emotionally invested then I'd rather being doing something else that I care about.
  3. I don't enjoy watching garbage
  4. And yet they get their own thread.
  5. Where do you get the troops?

But not as cool as Jimmy from Seinfeld.
  7. That's the problem. The guys you want to trade got old fast, are not performing, and are expensive... The guys that you can move easily are young and cheap, and you want to try and build around. I understand that they're f***ed. But what I don't want to see is adding multiple year contacts to try and make a run in 2018. My hope is that they can dump expiring contracts, listen on Happ, Donaldson, Pillar... See if anyone will give you a good return if you eat salary (off-season might be better for Donaldson)... And sign some short term deals on players that might be looking to rebuild their value. I'd listen on Stroman as well... But they would need to knock my socks off.

Maybe he can't stand LeBron and doesn't want to spend another minute around him. LeBron's a great player, but I can see him being an insufferable ass hat to be around.
  9. Retreat is always an option. It's like pushing half your chips in and then the river card gets turned and you know you're f***ed. You can always fold and spend the next several hands trying to rebuild your chips count, rather than going all in when you pretty much know you have a losing hand. The only debate that remains is, does this team have a losing hand. I think they do... Many don't yet. I hope I'm proven wrong.
  10. It's always better to sell a year too early than a year too late. I think they're already too late on several pieces.
  11. So does that mean he's bad defensively now? Some people can't see the forest for the trees.
  12. I remember the Jays were linked to Odor back when he signed as a 16 year old.
  13. All four of them made it to the majors and had varying levels of success. Injuries were their biggest enemies, not their talent level.
  14. No. His age saved him. But a lot of people didn't think he had a chance in hell of starting.
  15. Remember Al Leiter?
  16. Do you think this season is indicative of the kind of player he really is? I think he's closer to what he did last season. He's still a cockhat, either way though.
  17. Utility IF is as good as I think we can really expect from Biggio.
  18. What's wrong with liking hockey?
  19. Pentecost is a back of the bullpen guy? Who knew.
  20. How much is Pentecost actually catching
