There's a very high likelihood that's the case.

It's the wrong mix. Need to make changes to the core. Most of the team is very good...but there's something missing.

I'll watch and hope for the best. The Leafs make mistakes and make bad decisions every game. They don't do it as often as in the past but it's who they are. They get cute and it blows up in their face. The need a goalie that will bail them out...I don't see Sammy doing that. It's been a long time since they've had a goalie that you believe will steal games. Not 'can'....'Will'

What's funny about this series is that Montreal fans have shown how backwards they are. Leafs winning or losing does nothing to either hurt or harm Montreal's team. Montreal owns Florida's 1st round pick in 2023. Florida's place in the playoffs directly impacts where that pick will end up. Them beating the Leafs hurts Montreal's team as it directly impacts the value of one of their assets. Habs fans still cheer against the Leafs, because they hate the Leafs more than they love the Habs. I get cheering against your rivals...but even when it's actually detrimental to your own team?? Leafs will always be in the heads of Habs fans. If the roles were reversed, I'd want that pick to be as high as possible. I want the best chance possible for my team to draft a piece that could be a valuable core piece of my team for years to come, and hopefully a piece that is part of a championship squad. And before I hear the, 'the draft is a crapshoot' argument...There's a reason 1st rounders make it, and are typically stars way way more often and frequently than 7th rounders. The earlier you pick, the greater likelihood of getting a player that will become something significant. That's just common sense. I would want every advantage I could possibly get when rebuilding my team, even it's it's only picking 5-10 spots earlier. That's not an insignificant thing in the 1st round. As for being down 2-0? I'm so used to this kinda thing I'm numb to it...I just thought the Habs angle was amusing.

    RIP, Petr Klima
  14. Can't believe that jerk off is doing damage against Gausman.
  15. He's better than Manoah
  16. Why so wishy washy? Why not just go with last place.
  17. Not surprised. I've learned not to get too excited about pitching prospects anymore.
  18. But wasn't the whole argument with Berrios that the stuff was good but his location was s***, hence getting pounded?
  19. Their pitching has had issues (both starting, and relieving), and they have position players who have had really lousy starts to the season....and yet they're still on a 97 win pace. And based on that, you think there's a good chance they're out of contention by the deadline? That's some chicken little s*** right there.
  20. What's Garcia's pitch location on those homers? Centre cut? Or are they quality pitches?
  21. I would call it unwillingness. I think he's certain able.
