Love to see it but 29 seems awfully high for someone that essentially hasn't played in 2 seasons and only had a cup of coffee in full season ball. I'm really curious to see what he's able to do this season.
Yes. He's allowed to be. But the defender is also allowed to make a play. Pitcher was not going out of his way to obstruct. That's a situation where the runner initiated contact to try and get the call...and good on him for getting it. But bad on the ump for being a useless turd.
TECHNICALLY it absolutely is NOT obstruction. Those double lines in foul territory are for the runner. He was not anywhere near where he's suppose to be.
And at the time we debating between Zac Veen, Asa Lacy, Emerson Hancock, Max Meyer, Nick Gonzales...no one in their right mind thought Austin Martin could possibly be there at 5.
Wins are a team stat. You still play to win the game but you don't need a W or a L beside a pitchers stat line to know how they performed. The W or L should be reserved for the team as a whole.
Tellez yes, because he's had success so he's already shown he can figure it out. I'm willing to give him more time. Has Jansen ever had a prolonged period of success at the plate in the majors?
