    Historically I'd say very little chance but since Covid it seems like teams are willing to fast track players a bit more than in the past.

    i don't even want them calling it. Install a digital board that identifies balls and strikes. But sure...let them stand there and call safe and out should there be a close play at the plate. There will be opportunities for them to show that they shouldn't be doing that either.
