  1. I agree. Which is why I expect Vlad to maintain his weight and come back the exact same as this year. Which isn't bad, but isn't great. Luckily we still have some time with Vlad, but this contract thing is going to be a talking point for years.
  2. Lol. Bo isn't getting 300 from anyone.
  3. Yup. And get ready for it. I don't expect this to be a smooth negotiation.
  4. His own mom? No. Jeez! What a weird place to go. You always f*** someone elses mom. ALWAYS!
  5. What do we think the Jays payroll will be for 2022? How much of that is used up with existing contracts and arb eligible players are dealt with? How much is left vs. how many roster spots need to be filled? It's nice to dream but I'm really curious what we legitimately have to spend
  6. Rowdy f***ed his mom in celebration

Sounds about right. Who's the guy that donated a kidney or some organ to Melnyk years ago when he was sick? There has to be a large consortium of Sens fans who want to throw that guy into a dumpster.
  8. The Jays kept Grichuk and moved on from Stroman. I think that's your answer

They will continue to be a regular season nuisance for Toronto. That I can tell you with some certainty.
  10. Stroman isn't coming back. This is him getting his Blue Jay fan fans worked up so they can then s*** on Shapiro and Atkins when it doesn't happen.
  11. Would be nice but, a) they have to want to come back can't pay a massive Toronto tax to convince them to come back I think Ray genuinely likes it here. Semien I feel is a hired assassin and would return but on his terms (maximum dollar and term). Matz I feel would rather be elsewhere, but I base than on nothing other than gut feel.
  12. Seeding based on league standings, not divisional. That's the simplest fix. Top 5 records are in. 4 & 5 play 1 game elimination game, then go from there. You would need balanced schedules though if you really want to make it fair.
  13. Win more games during the regular season. That's the way.
  14. He was a middle infielder when the Jays originally signed him as I recall...then converted him to C. He's certainly athletic enough to do it...but I'm thinking they probably won't go back to something they already crossed off the list in the first place.
  15. Who is more likely to continue performing at a high level over 2, 3, 4 years? Ray or Semien?
  16. Is it just me or does it feel like players get injured in the most idiotic ways way more often in Baseball than in other sports?
  17. Who is easier to replace with another FA signing... Semien or Ray?
  18. Then you should start preparing yourself mentally. I think the odds of them BOTH returning is low.
  19. I was fine with Biggio over the past couple of seasons, however, this team is at the point now where it needs something more bankable and predictable. No clue what you're going to get from Biggio. I'm not comfortable with a potential black hole in our lineup, knowing he's not going to give you much defensively either. If he's able to find some consistency and have longer stretches of play like we've seen he's capable of, bonus. Utility guy with star potential is where he's at right now
  20. Twins too. Or really, any of the awful losses from terrible Montoyo moves or brutal bullpen performances. I hope everyone looks in the mirror over this offseason and it really sinks in just how much every single game counts
  21. Everyone is having fun though. Isn't that what it's about?
  22. Ryu is a solid #5 at this point
