    Agreed it's nobody's business. Bt they probably keep him on the roster, even if he's still expected to miss games 1 and 2, maybe even 3,4

    The one thing I don't like about Bautista is his tendency to argue with the umpires, everything else he's great. I'm still undecided about what to do with him next year. His arm is still great, but his fielding has dipped. I kind of want to take him out of RF, but I don't really see how we can. Prior to this season, I thought about having him go to third and LAwrie to second, but obviously with Donaldson that is not even a consideration. The other option is for him to be 1B, with Edwin at DH, but then we lose Colabello's spot if his form continues

    I would go for a 2+1 deal ( 10 ,10 ,10 if option is team option or 8,9,10 if option is player option - make him give up some $ for the optout)

    I came into the game thinking the strategy would've been Dickey for half the game 5 IP and then Price for the rest 4 IP, so Price would be on regular rest for game 1 and Stro- for Game 5. When Gibby took Dckey out exactly after twice through the order. I figured that was exactly the plan.

    I never saw it as what would happen, but what I would like. But I was basing it off the -1.7 WAR I saw on Baseball-Reference, thinking there was no way the Jays would offer more than 1.5 if that was his true WAR. But after comparing it to Fangraphs calculation, I can see how the 2.9 figure is more realistic and how the Jays will probably offer closer to that amount.

    I used Baseball-Reference. Knew there was variations across different sites, but had no idea it could be that extreme difference. -1.7 to 1.5 is huge

    Because he had a 13-5 record, all he does is win as Zaun says. Seriously though, I get that he gets a raise from his minimum-type deals because now he's arb eligible, but I think $2.9M is high. He posted a -1.7 WAR. I say $1.25M + $1M in incentives

    Yeah, it was said earlier that the projected figure for Cecil was miscalculated and they were going to fix it. No way he gets 1.4M, I just left it as it was though so the source was the same. It's since been fixed on MLBTR so, I've updated it
