    Last year we did the same thing but in reverse with Thole. We called up Hutchinson on August 29 I believe; sent Thole to Bluefield and brought him back September 2nd to catch Dickey, missing no starts. Funny that last year, Thole was the effect of the procedural move and this year Thole was the cause of the procedural move.

    The cash considerations are to offset the difference in Storens 8.4 to Benoit's 8. But I thought Washington was already paying the difference between Storen and Reveres 6.6.or did they just send us the 1.8 in cash at the time of the Revere/Storen swap instead of keeping that 1.8 on their books

Negates the force at second and Pillar could've run back to first and been safe and/or run counts as long as Smoak touches home before Pillar tagged in rundown? Just making sure since the typical double play is 1B catches ball, throws to 2nd base touch bag, then back to 1B touching bag

    No, I know lol. Edwin and JB should probably both be our DHs. That's why I won't exactly be disappointed if/when they leave. They provide extremely limited positional flexibility when we get into these close pinch hitting games.

    He's obviously being sarcastic in reference to the idea of Sanchez as setup man. Storen is going to be the closer, with Osuna/Cecil as 7/8. Sanchez would be, at best, our 4th reliever.
