Can't fault the Jays. There's a difference between overpaying and stupid overpaying. The Jays are willing to do the former to an extent, but stupid overpaying is too much and can't blame them

Well Bichette is gone. Time for me to pivot to make myself feel better and tell myself it's all good, because I'll tell myself that Clement will easily translate his 30 hit postseason over a full season and make up for Bo's production with better defense at 2nd.

Which I literally said in that we would pivot to Bo and I'm positive they will pony up for him if Tucker is indeed gone.

While I would like Tucker, him going to the Mets isn't the worst thing. If he does, Jays will definitely go all in on Bo and resign him. This way instead of us getting Tucker and Bo going to the Red Sox or even Yanks, we get the top FA player going to the NL and the #2 to us instead of the top to us and the #2 to another ALE.
