    This all sounds rather stupid to me. I just assumed they were doing a rebuild of some sort. In any case, an aging / declining position player doesn't make much sense in trade.

    They weren't rebuilding when they signed Melky, they thought they could be contenders. Edwin is not going to White Sox, that's just stupid.

    If AA upgrades SP who is replaced in the rotation? Hutch's peripherals are good even though the results have been poor. Buehrle has been good. Dickey has been effective over the last 2 months. Estrada has been effective. Doubrount has been pretty good. I guess Doubrount is the likely candidate, regardless.
