That is actually a good counter-point, they have immense value but that may not last so you could but hurting the future by not trading them. And I said trade one, not both, maybe the guy you trade doesn't pan out anyway.

I don't think giving up one of Norris / Hoffman is mortgaging the future? It's possible neither even pan out as effective major league starters.

Curious. What are fans willing to give up to win the division? What are fans willing to give up to win a WC spot? I know it's a bit foolish but even a WC spot would be glorious at this point.
