    I think Devon Travis will be a very similar player as Howie Kendrick. I drafted him last year in my keeper league and have always liked him. I think he will be a 0.300 batter, who will have a 0.750-0.875 OPS throughout his career. I see him being a second baseman who is a 15/15 or maybe even 20/20 player for HR's and steals. I thought this before he was traded to the Blue Jays and still think this. I don't feel that is unreasonable.

    Agreed! I picked him up late last year in both my dynasty keeper leagues off the waiver wire. I think and hope he will have a great career. I actually picked him to be the most useful piece for Oakland of the Donaldson trade. You have to give up something to get something.

    So I am in a deep keeper fantasy league. I have two late round picks and want to target two of the Jays lefties. If you had to choose two of Labourt, Smoral, Borucki or Boyd for longest term fantasy value, who would you pick? I understand this is a bit of a craps shoot. Any thoughts?

    Yup my Grandma always listened to the fan 590 when she would go to games. Just on a cheap hand held AM radio. She also scored every blue jay game until a week before she passed away at 90. Monday would have been her 95 birthday. Happy birthday Doris, the Jays are going to win some for you this year!

    Stroman is not healthy. Sanchez and Norris will be in the rotation. Estrada and Castro will likely be in the 'pen. I'm picking Castro to finish in top 3 in American League ROY at the end of the year. It wasn't the way it was planned, that's life. No if's and but's,let's just play ball. GO Jays!

    No s***, throwing a baseball is so literally biomechanically destructive on an arm. I'm still waiting for a pitcher's arm to literally fly off mid pitch someday. All kidding aside, our bodies did not evolve to "throw" projectiles overhand. Pitcher's arm's are going to break down, even with perfect mechanics.

    So far this Spring Sanchez has had 2.0769 BB/9. Small sample size but that is acceptable.

    Can we all agree that we are Jays fans? It has been decided that Sanchez is in the rotation (announced today) and there is a very good chance Miguel Castro is going to be in the bullpen. I for one think they both are going to do well and and I hope they help us win.

    Diamondbacks catching prospect Peter O'Brien is struggling with his return throws to pitchers. According to Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic, there were more than a half-dozen return tosses that went wild Sunday in a "B" game. And the same thing happened in a Cactus League game Friday. It sounds like a case of the yips, though O'Brien does not carry a good defensive reputation overall. "I've been working on it," the powerful 24-year-old said Monday. "Getting it under control and making sure I keep the tempo of the game up and keep working from there." Mar 16 - 11:48 AM Does anybody else find this really funny. I'm suggesting someone with large stack of porn mags head down and fix this ASAP. I hear it is an important skill-set of a catcher to get the ball back to the pitcher after each pitch.

    Lol, believe me my sense of humour is a million miles ahead of Sanchez's control. The only reason I was frustrated with your post is because you took an obvious mistake that I had transcribed from Fangraph's and brought it up in a completely different post. The admin had asked for a list of all the different publications Jays prospects. I took time to try and compile that for everyone. Yes of course it was Fangraph's summary, I stated that at the top of the post. But most importantly it should be noted that it would be much better if Patrick Murphy threw with his left hand. I think someone should consider approaching him and see if he's willing to start throwing left handed!
