  1. Jesus I didn't expect Cardinals to put up much yards but that was just horrible. I thought it would be closer and Arizona could sneak one out. Cardinals were put in a tough spot 3rd string QB
  2. Another rough loss. Great trade by Oilers
  3. Cardinals / Steelers / Colts / Lions
  4. Prime age 26-28 sure. However he's hurt or trying to fight off TJ surgery. You can't translate stats from Japanese players to MLB. Come on now!
  5. Older is a strength now? How many Japanese stars become stars in the MLB? He was/is a great pitcher but this type of injury is not just a set back
  6. Back spasms, quad, rest, and ankle, wrist etc
  7. It's between Tanaka and Stroman with Tanaka's elbow it's an easy pick for me Stroman. Tanaka might play well without surgery and also might have surgery recover then play well but to many IF's in the whole process.
  8. I wouldn't call them a bad football team they are more balanced then my sad Falcons. However they aren't going to make far, they could beat Arizona but I doubt it
  9. I don't have an issue with Reyes, the contract doesn't match the output exactly but most don't. Just wish we had a super utility player we can trust and let Reyes have a few extra games off
  10. I have been trying to find a comment I heard from an ESPN reporter on Julio Jones last week...something along the lines of why didn't you stretch out a bit on the field with your type of injury...." Have you seen me play? I don't need to stretch....." It was awesome but I was half in the bag and can't remember... Anyone recall this?
  11. Leafs are looking great, it's time to start working those phones in January to improve the D
  12. Hard to imagine this since it seemed like it was impossible but if somehow AA was able to keep Lawrie and get Donaldson. Short term the Jays win. Long term the Jays should win and if they don't it was a gamble in our favour x 2
  13. I doubt Melky wanted to be here. AA wouldn't add 2 million / year for the guy if/he wants?? I think he would
  14. Interesting off season for them. They have improved but is it enough? doubt it but I give kudos to management
  15. They have improved and I don't think they " suck ". Sounds like around $45 million range.
  16. Agree typical AA move and there is nothing not to like about it.
  17. That's right go Falcons! But Newton and the Panthers are killing playoffs for most esp me!
  18. Fun team to watch that's for sure
  19. Well of course if the top 3 went to market today the contracts would be higher but they are proven closers. I doubt all 3 have long success as closers are hard to gauge but if Kimbrel continues hes worth every penny even if his contract is 4 / 50 When I posted your post wasn't visible. I saw it afterwards.
  20. Future is so hard to predict with closers however in a imaginary world if you knew Kimbrel would continue....signing him for 4 / 42 is a complete steal and no brainer
  21. Burrows is the type you hate to play against but love to have on your team. Good win for the Leafs - Bernier did great - Scoring is not a problem
  22. I like Gregerson and would sign him over Roberston
  23. Romero has the ability to bounce back but not counting on him for anything. He is just a bonus
  24. I don't see the Jays overpaying for Lester ( years ) or Lester wanting to play here. I prefer the value of Shields anyway
