I don't know the " Corsi " at all... However I do watch almost every game and Bozak is not the issue at all. You may not like the contract but that can be said for too many players. On this team as it stands he's a top 6 forward and doing his part without a doubt. Next I feel I'm going to hear Komarov is garbage.. I would go as far as saying without Bozak, this team would be with the Devils in the conference. Now if you throw Bozak on the Hawks different story, he's not an elite player by all means but his role HERE is quite huge. More then Lupol, Kadri, Clarkson etc

He is a good two way forward that can help the team everywhere. Don't you think maybe he plays with Kessel and JVR is because he deserves it and is a strength to their weakness? I don't consider him an issue to this team at all.

Don't think Bozak belongs with that group. Overpaid? Maybe by a 1 million/year. He brings a lot to this team and is underrated.

It's not Kessel, he does what everyone expected out of him. The problem is just the lack of talent simple as that. I don't feel like Phaneuf should be Captain but I also don't feel like anyone else deserves it on this team. Phaneuf is great in the old style of hockey not this one, plus 25+ minutes a game isn't for him.

I'm assuming they don't feel confident in being able to sign Babcock in offseason? They wouldn't roll with an interim for the rest of the season, I wouldn't think anyway. I agree with you Spanky I would be happy with either but not sure who I would prefer right now. MaClean sounds like the choice but the team might need Eakins attitude more.
