    The Angels have atleast seen the playoffs, they have been relevant The Jays through the entirety of the Delagdo and Halladay era did not even once sniff a game that matters. They were not in a single race. If neither had existed, nothing would have changed.

    Fair enough, He did walk Davis in the WC game at a pretty important spot. We could have easily lost it there Like I said I am not opposed to this, hard to see Cecil totalling 2 WAR in the next 3 years if he is projected to be at 0.3 for 2017

    Top 5 franchise player Halladay Alomar Delgado Bautista Stieb LMFAO, Nothing was accomplished during Delgado and Halladay's era, the entire time was a waste of time. In the end it was Jose Bautista's coming to age that made the difference for this team. Him and EE. Halladay wasted his career here as did Delgado. Its hard to argue with Alomar because we won multiple WS, but if Bautista is second to anyone its Alomar only.

    You guys can say what you want, Cecil is not the answer. He wasn't reliable in the playoffs either, now we are offering him a 3 year deal. it better be for around $15M total.

    I will be surprised if a team is willing to give up their first for Bautista. If it was a second round pick and they had already given up their first than maybe But hard for me to imagine that a team would give up the first round pick at a time when younger players are making impact faster and faster

    There is no way for this signing to be a net positive. Morales is not going to be with 4 WAR as a dh over 3 years He was last in terms of DH value last year

    It would be liveable, but ultimately we will still be a 82-84 win team unless we can find the elite bullpen pieces that all the good teams seem to have.
