    Cap Anson was just an absolute f***ing POS in terms of advancing the sport (and civil rights) and expanding the league. Ty Cobb was a no doubt a prick and a dirty player, but to everyone.

    I would generally agree with that post if it didn't have so much extra nonsense and just stated the facts. Atkins has been subpar at putting together a winner and has left the farm in bad shape. Full stop.

    I'm from the Pacific NW so the Mariners have always been my second team. And yes, all of this, the Jays f***ed up. Can't fault the Mariners for taking advantage (and generally have a likable team). I hated the Royals in 2015 because I hated the Royals period. f*** Ned Yost and a number of the players on that team.
