Vlad did literally everything well in that series (offensively, baserunning, defensively making smart plays, being a leader) and earned his keep, hats off to him.
Would like to see Springer have a game tomorrow. He's been pretty silent in this series with the exception of the home run the other day with a huge lead.
Still think this is on Bieber more than anything else, you have to shut things down after a good inning like that top of the 3rd. We can argue about lineup decisions all you want and obviously the errors are a big problem, but the game was put into the Yankees hands when he couldn't get out of the 3rd inning.
Underrated in all of this is the fact that Bieber has to be better than he was, giving a 5-run lead to one of your (supposedly) best pitchers should at least get you through 5 innings. Regardless of the errors, he was giving up too much hard contact.
