  1. f***ing ump that inning would have been over before that at-bat even happened.
  2. Hitters should just hit them brah. What a bunch of tards.
  3. Love these posts. Believe it or not, sometimes the pitcher just dominates. Gavin Williams looks really good.
  4. I hope you realize I'm also trolling you smh...
  5. Simeon Woods-Richardson wasn't a pick by this team. As usual, you are looking for things to complain about. Jose Berrios is signed to a below-market AAV. He signed a 7-year term, but he was just 27 at the time of that extension. This means that he will be just 34 years old when he is a UFA. That isn't even old by any standard of metric; Chris Bassitt is literally 34 years old right now and he's still plugging away at a 2+ WAR pace. Berrios is one of the most durable pitchers in the league. He has zero history of control/command concerns. He is not fat, and he does not have a wild/inconsistent delivery. His success has never depended on overpowering velocity. He is about as safe as it gets from a pitching perspective, and to repeat: his below-market contract doesn't even run until his age 35 season. To state "we'll see what happens" can be said about any player in the history of the game. Again, if Jose Berrios' contract has you spooked then you may as well not extend any player ever again LMAO. Yes guy, the 29 year old who never misses a start and doesn't even make $20 mill per year might iMplOdE aT aNy mOMeNt! YoU nEvr KnOw!
  6. He just turned 29 years old and is one of the most consistent pitchers in the league. He also doesn't miss starts. His contract is very team-friendly (under $20 mill per year until 2027). It sounds like you're just talking to talk. Any player can implode at any moment in time. By that logic you should probably never extend anyone of value past their arbitration years if Jose Berrios' contract (of all players) is worrying to you.
  7. The FCL Jays just completed a no-hitter fueled by 19 year old RHP Fernando Perez who went 7 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K. No idea who he is (it's his first season stateside), but he's posting a strong season: 42.2 IP, 30 H, 0 HR, 9 BB, 49 K 2.53 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, 1.61 GO/AO
  8. Oh I'm sorry you must be an Anti-Semite. So sad.
  9. 115 wRC+ is really bad considering his base running and defense. He's making $14.5 mill this season and is barely above 0 fWAR. There is no sugar-coating it.
  10. Spencer Horwitz 3 for 4 with a BB. Now up to a .910 OPS. Should have traded Vlad at the deadline and brought up Horwitz to mash with Schneider.
  11. Vlad is a product of the Fat Greek. Once we launch him into the sun and bring up Chad Atkins' group of burley boys it's game over.
  12. He's a late round pick. Several others like him in AAA right now too. It's a direct jab at Olerud and his insincere arguments. Go in your corner and cry more.
  13. Let's ask Jackie Robinson lmao:
  14. I mean I doubt they're putting in a catcher with a hand/wrist injury just so he can run the bases.
  15. He has hand inflammation. How is he going to catch/throw?
  16. It's a defensive move with a 1-run lead. Kiermier to CF, Varsho to LF, Merrifield back to 2B. Improves the defense.
  17. Former #1 prospects across the league. Someone tell me what sticks out: Ronald Acuna: 5.9 fWAR, 5.6 bWAR Shohei Ohtani: 8.0 fWAR, 8.8 bWAR Vlad Guerrero Jr: 0.4 fWAR, 1.1 bWAR Wander Franco: 3.9 fWAR, 4.8 bWAR Bobby Witt Jr: 3.8 fWAR, 3.0 bWAR SMH.
  18. f***ing Barfsho should be on the bench.
  19. FCL Jays just finished a 7-inning game: Nimmala: 1 for 2, 2B, BB Bohrofen: 0 for 2, 2 K Shaw: 1 for 3 Barry: 1 for 1, HR (second in recent days; they split him and Bohrofen at DH) Nimmala out-dueled fellow Florida HS SS Aidan Miller who was 0 for 2 with a BB and K.
