  1. Reyes is doing much better now that he has come clean
  2. 21 plate appearances vs. 1 pitcher is pretty significant bud. Thats 3 to 4 years of baseball. You know hitters hitting well against certain pitchers is not random Some guys just see some pitchers better, they pickup the ball earlier. Have you ever played baseball?
  3. Then you have to be willing to part with top prospects Cant have both. People here want impact pieces, but dont trade any prospects Drew is available at low cost, thats the reason I mentioned it as a viable option
  4. So Lind is a career 1.076 OPS hitter against CJ Wilson in 24 plate appearances And Danier Navarro is DHing Is Lind Hurt again
  5. It seems pretty clear now that help, if it arrives will be after the all star break and not before. Which is slightly disappointing, given the importance of these upcoming games.
  6. yep, and why wouldn't the Redsox want to stick it to the yankees Its not like Drew will be part of the Jays past this year, so why not deal with the Jays. The only question is whether AA is actually looking for a real replacement for these issues, or still surfing the waiver wire
  7. There was one at bat yesterday where it looked like his back was tweeked, he kept trying to stretch it. It looked like he was in pain, and the commentators mentioned it as well. If there are any issues, these are separate from his hamstring. Kevin Barker on baseball central mentioned how much of a bad idea it was to play Bautista, who has had back issues in the past, at a position he isn't used to. For What? To Get Mastroini in the lineup? Or To get Reimold in the Lineup? Or Navarro. If he is healthy he should be back at his position. He is the heart and soul of this team, you put him where he is best, and move everyone around him.
  8. He has been playing well, but Dickey has pitched well in the last month or so.
  9. well that cant be too large of a sample size this year. I haven't looked at his numbers, and I know that he hits righties much better than he hits lefties. At the same time, It might not cost much. Sox might just do it to move money, which comes to 6-7 Mil. Not bad might not require any major prospeects
  10. Redsox might move Stephen drew Just saying we need an infielder
  11. Mike trout maybe the greatest baseball player of our generation He is not comparable
  12. 5/5??? Those sound jpa day view numbers Ah to dream. It was 2010 Saturday to be exact. August. When the stud catcher stepped up to the plate. Whack kaboom a home run. Smack another home run. Thudur a double down the right field line All was right with the universe if only for a day
  13. Everyone should DH
  14. ^ I wouldn't be surprised of he doesn't end up making a trade at all
  15. You should have listened to Barker on baseball central yesterday. Playing Jose at first is exposing his body to a position he isn't used to. Already yesterday he kept trying to stretch his lower back in one at bat. He looked like he tweeked something. Its not just the matter of he can't play 1st. Secondly you don't move around your superstar. You put him where he is supposed to be and move the rest of the team around him. Wouldn't surprise me if he had already tweeked his lower back or he will do it eventually if he keeps playing first and doing those stretch plays
  16. Jays need to follow this up today and potentially save the road trip.
  17. Neither Navarro or Kratz have ever played 1B in mlb. Kratz played 1b in 2010 in the minors. Dissapointing. Need to get Jose of the field
  18. Give it a rest. Things were in Dickeys favor and he pitched well. Even Dickey doesn't know how he will pitch day to day. He has pitched well and is not the problem but he is not capable of putting teams on their back
  19. Tolleson ran on his own Gibby just threw him under the bus Fight is coming
  20. Face it guys its only a matter of time before all this frustration leads to a fight between Gibby and Bautista
  21. When against jays you don't need conclusive evidence Punish those Canadians
