  1. Just some context on Bryan Reynolds.. Debuted in 2019, played all 3 outfield positions, most games in LF. 25 years old. He was the Pirates #9 prospect in 2019 and Giants #5 prospect in 2018. Had a breakout rookie season posting .314/.377/.503, .880 OPS, 132 wRC+ 16 HR, 83 R, 68 RBI, 3 SB in 134 games 121 K / 46 BB Impressive hit tool with some above average raw power, good glove, borderline plus sprint speeds. 89.5mph avg EV, 112.1 max EV, 7% barrel %, 9.4’ launch angle (line drive hitter). He chases a bit so his walk rates aren't that impressive despite the hit tool, but he could get better as he just debuted last season.
  2. Gore was fine, the delivery is really a bit weird tbh lol. My boy Cal Quantrill got lit up.
  3. Alek Manoah hasn’t showed up in camp and didn’t tweet since July 12:
  4. Ross Atkins trying to get Bryan Reynolds from Ben Cherington:
  5. We won’t see an MLB schedule like very often, pencil in your predictions before July 20 (3 days left).
  6. Sportsnet live stream from yesterday
  7. Still time to submit your predictions
  8. Let the past die. Kill it if you have to.
  9. We went from the lowest velo BP and oldest roster in baseball couple years ago... to this.
  10. He's been working on a changeup for a while, but it's still a work in progress. As a lights-out BP arm though, 98 + wicked slider is really all you need if it's good enough (see Giles). I'm glad the Texas Rangers gave up on Romano and he got a chance to come home.
  11. Borucki added a cutter to his arsenal. The changeup has been a plus pitch for him, but he really needed an extra weapon.
  12. Just for the record, I was never high on SRF or Alford even at their peak hype. I’ve been all over Cavan Biggio since double-A, while I was scouting Vlad and Bichette. His zone recognition and left handed power was elite since AFTER swing changes in Dunedin. And I always said Biggio is pretty decent at 2B. Bichette was always my guy while the general population was all over Vlad. I love Vladdy, don’t get me wrong. But Bichette has always looked the part of a star to me, it was super obvious when you see him play as you guys do now. He impacts the game in multiple ways and has a star’s charisma on the field. Bichette absolutely roasted Bluefield and Lansing and caught my eye since.
  13. I would gladly take J-Rod too, thanks!
  14. Marriott hotel’s WiFi will be at peak usage this summer
  15. More innings for my new acquisition Devenski
