  1. Outside of the last two weeks the Indians were fluttering around .500 the way most teams do. They didn't seem particularly special then -- two guys busted for PEDs and the team's best player on the shelf. For a team that struggles to draw attendance anyway, it's no surprise that no one particularly cared. It's not like they've been Cubs-good all year.
  2. They basically played a double header on Wednesday and then hopped on a plane. And the guys getting the most time off are the injury risks who everyone will scream told-you-so if they break again.
  3. Honestly, the approach was awful. It's not like Carrasco is unhittable. Not really sure about this team's chances tbh.
  4. Carrera is honestly a clown out there. I hate him so much.
  5. Can't stand whiny Texas fans. Almost makes me want to take it out on WTF.
  6. Guys must be gassed. Basically played a double header yesterday and then flew home from Colorado.
  7. My best memory of Jenkins is that time he held the Tigers scoreless for a million innings in that 19-inning marathon a couple of years ago.
  8. Last year during the division race I spoke to a Yankee fan fairly frequently and he was pretty down about the Yanks' chances v the Jays. I remember being polite and giving him the not-over-till-it's-over talk, but deep down I felt dirty, like a traitor who sold out his tribe. A Blue Jay fan consoling a Yankee fan over the Yanks trailing a playoff race... disgusting.
  9. Today is a historic day in Blue Jays history. Not only did they win their first game ever at Coors Field, but they won two games. Two games in one day! See you in 2022, Colorado... I guess.
  10. Me too. And I'm surprised he didn't throw at least one good to Wolters, who was sitting as dead to rights as possible for a hitter.
  11. Didn't the Padres give them a bit of a hard time back in Baltimore? Which is odd considering the natures of their two parks.
  12. "Trouble pitching in non-save situations" Dude already pitched today, 14 hours ago.

  14. Agree. Not as bad as the infamous Arnold Leon v. Steven Souza, but really, really up there.
  15. Good job on Gibby literally giving away an out so Sanchez can face the top of a scary lineup again. Smoak was the perfect pinch option there.
  16. How can you be that liberal with a strike zone when the batter is not swinging? If a guy can't throw a clean strike there he doesn't deserve the borderline ones. There was a lot of incompetence in that AB, from management to pitching to umpiring. Perhaps the lowest point in MLB history?
  17. Gibby never learns with SPs. He's just hitting to not swing or get hurt running. What is this?
