  1. A sac bunt is conceding an out though. Lake and Barney both get on against Kluber, but they have Zeke make an out instead of trusting him to hit. A guy you can't trust to hit shouldn't be getting ABs before Josh, EE, Saunders or Troy. I'll agree that he's been way better than expected, but every play he makes is like an averted blooper considering his track record.
  2. His bunt yesterday was so annoying. He would have been safe had he not short-stepped the bag. Granted, he flinched cause he thought there would be a collision, but man nothing he does ever goes correctly. It also aggravates me that the team has a 1-slot hitter who can't be trusted to do anything in front of Donaldson. They'd rather concede an out.
  3. Should have thrown a right hook at him. That's how you get single games knocked off a punishment, right?
  4. One sac fly between Friday's 9th and 17th innings would have made it a series win.
  5. Literally one run would have done the trick.
  6. Kluber was iffy, but Jays did a good job waiting on him. Particularly the bottom of the order + Zeke, I you can believe it.
  7. Jays have a case to have six All Stars: JD Saunders EE Estrada Sanchez Osuna? Agree? (going by AS voting conventions and not nerd stats)
  8. Great job taking off. Lindor had to gain his footing and didn't have time to wind up (dumpy throw).
  9. Oooh, a gift there. Nice work, Zeke.
  10. Team looks like it's being instructed to wait an iffy Kluber out. He's getting up there. Indians pen might have to go 5+ if things go south here.
  11. It wasn't a particularly strong showing on E's part, but Lake and Barney did a surprisingly good job. I'll agree with that.
  12. Great AB from Lake there. Laid off some serious death sliders.
  13. Nobody will ever give credit to the other team's pitcher. Always a failing on the Blue Jays. Narrow-minded analysis.
  14. Wow, a Cy Young winner got out of a jam and was aided by a sacrifice out? Who'd have thought.
  15. Yeah. Gave the ace an out. Lake hit, Barney BB, but can't trust Zeke to swing.
  16. Sac bunt and then short steps the base. Zeke gets you in so many ways.

  18. Of all the condescending posts I've read on this forum, that one might be the king of them all. Jesus, Cyborg.
  19. Agreed. One start isn't a big deal.
  20. How many starts for him between now and the break? One?
  21. Tough win, but good to see it come out right after yesterday's... thing. Big bats all came through -- EE, Tulo, JD, Saunders. And I guess Zeke's speed made up on the play at the plate for the dive in RF
  22. Pretty glad to be wrong. I defer to all of you, gents.
  23. I mean higher up the thigh. His hand wasn't on the plate yet.
