Any hate on EE for that is misplaced. He wasn't playing his natural position. Reyes was here, and, worse, he stood there staring like a 10-year-old in a softball game as his teammate did his job for him.
I can't speak to his performance when he's doing his job well (which is when he's invisible), but he needs to pipe down on plays like that. The ball clearly didn't go that far and he was right there to recognize that.
Reyes also needed to turn on the gas too.
