Kat's just saying that one can vehemently disagree with whomever is outraged without dismissing them with pejoratives. Maybe one day someone of the "outrage" culture will have a good point but we'll all miss it because we've already mentally labeled them as feminist = stupid, or somesuch.
I think the outrage vs. Gibbons is ridiculous (again) but I can see why what he said might be obnoxious to some. If he said "maybe we'll just play like girls", I think most here would agree that it was a s***** thing to say. But he said "wear dresses" instead, so if someone makes the link that wearing dresses = being girls, the outrage makes sense, I guess. I, and my girlfriend, just took the comment to mean that the league is becoming too delicate and dainty and, if a woman coach had said it, that meaning would have been a lot more obvious.
