  1. Never met a bodily excretion you weren't interested, eh
  2. This catcher discussion. Cards couldn't afford to lose Molina last year. Won 100 games.
  3. I'm not opposed to this. Surely Cecil throws side sessions, and if he's also off there then management should more fluid with the pecking order in games until he rights himself. The great thing about Cecil is that I'm fine putting him up against pretty much anybody, lefty or no (the lack of other lefty options complicates things, admittedly). But if he's tossing s*** at the moment, shuffle the deck. Chavez and Floyd have both been pretty good. The depth is there. Didn't Cecil lose his closer gig after a single series last year? Amazing how Gibby is willing to make some moves (Cecil was pre-mature, IMO, but ultimately for the best) but doesn't budge at all on others. Donaldson hitting second was the best move he ever made when Martin wasn't getting it done. I also recall Cecil being s*** last April. Not that the losses that result from his poor outings don't suck, just that there's more reason for optimism than hysterical panic.
  4. Gibby hands Girardi the advantage for out #1, still 2/3 scrubs coming up.
  5. There you go. s***** results are s*****, but... Wtf. Saunders vs. Miller?
  6. Gonna be that guy: If anyone gets on against Miller, Pillar will get an AB over the big four.
  7. Fourth straight horseshit April, ugh. No one looks like they're on their games.
  8. Are there ump stats on which guys tend to miss which ball-strike calls? Like, does a guy tend to miss outside strikes to lefties more than other umps?
  9. Not sure if I'm off the mark, but Saunders shouldn't have coasted that ball to second. Husky runner took third.
  10. Chavez has been good except for that ridiculous grand slam to Holt.
  11. Joke? Why smart to give a baserunner to Bautista when Betances could have warmed a batter early?
  12. Girardi randomly makes the safe tactical move.
  13. Laser single and a BB. Cecil gave the babip an opportunity he shouldn't have.
  14. Cecil handing the Yankees an advantage. I hate April Cecil.
  15. This game is going to come down to an error or some other stupid ********.
  16. That Syndergaard update, damn...
  17. This is unbelievably boring to watch. And now the Yanks will back into another run.
  18. Someone gets paid not only to have nothing interesting or witty to say but to actively encourage internet weirdos to track down some old lady's information just because she's visible at baseball games.
  19. I doubt many teams will be falling over themselves to part with an ace for a 40+yo knuckleballer and whatever vague "something good" you can't even identify.
  20. Did Storen throw that dirty slider to Pedroia at all. Was nasty on Betts' strike 2, but that could have been the outlier.
  21. I'm fine with not letting these tough Sox hitter get another dip at Estrada. I don't have confidence in the BP at the moment, but that's another story IMO. Gibby only has so many tools.
