  1. Really? That would crush my confidence... 80 something pitch count, 4 hits in the 8th.
  2. How the hell can Hutch have such ridiculous splits with home/away. I can't wrap my head around it.
  3. It's kind of funny but it'd be more funny if Stroman then threw inside and Showalter had a bird.
  4. Why do you say he's the reason Cola over Valencia? Navarro played a lot in June and it was pretty clear AA wanted him playing to try and increase his value as a trade candidate. He has since had limited play, 1 game out of every 5 which is expected from most back ups. Stro as a reliever was probably an assumption based on possible limited innings and not really knowing fully the situation. He probably just should not have commented.
  5. He's not spamming... He's accumulating extra WAR by batting lead off and increasing his plate appearances.
  6. Why do you seem to think WAR is equal to a hockey player's +/-? If Aaron Loup blows 5 games, you could argue he's directly responsible for 5 losses to the Jays or you could say his ridiculously MLB leading 24% HR/FB rate resulted in several of those BS as a fluke. WAR is there so you can simply put a value on a player, not to directly associate a player with a win today or a loss tomorrow. Travis being in the line up had nothing to do with the Jays losing games. It's a f***ing team sport and there is no reason why Ryan Goins should be playing over Travis when comparing the value each player provides to the team individually. Did you know Kawasaki was in the Jays line up during 2013's 11 game winning streak? I guess we should start him over Travis too.
  7. Stop arguing, you're interfering with the fapable content this thread delivers.
  8. Brett's grand slam celebration during his first week after getting called up was against the A's nonetheless, and my all time favourite Lawrie moment. I have zero ill will towards Lawrie and every GM in the league would have moved him for Donaldson.
  9. That was sort of painful to watch.
  10. If the tying run is at the plate, he is the last guy I want to see out of the pen pitching.
  11. Aaron Loup 24.0 % HR/FB Sorry for your ultra bad luck, but your serving meatballs and need to go.

  13. There is one. http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/members/2573-Lil-Looper
  14. It would feel really good if the Jays won the division and the O's & Yankees took the wild card and sweat it out together.
  15. They need to give him a stool so he looks less out of place on tv.
  16. The fan was f***ing clueless period. He saw a ball and turned in to a golden retriever like all idiot fans.
  17. I'll see you guys soon. I got to prep some fireworks.
  18. Throw it a foot off the plate, he's calling it all night anyway,. Edit: Or not. f*** you ump.
  19. Teixera scares the s*** out of me though
