    Use f***ing ERA I don't care. anything around 4.00 of any measurement you use is pretty much the typical Dickey we expect and also one that can easily be replaced.

    I thought the decision was correct, but really his value/war is totally different than other pitchers which gets overlooked. Having to carry Thole comes with an added $800K cost of negative value. In fact we paid Thole $1,750,000 last year... I can't think of one quality factor in having a knuckleball pitcher with hopes of at best a 4.00 FIP result / 2.0 WAR with all that baggage. Unless your Mike Wilner and say yea but there's 200 innings that are worth every penny, like just give it a rest Mike. I don't think we miss a step with any one of Hutchison, Floyd, Chavez in replace of Dickey along with a legit back up catcher.

    His last 2 games he hit 3 balls right to the wall, including two to center field, not to mention his homer. He could have had 4 homers in 2 games with the right outdoor conditions, or hitting it to slightly different parts of the field. Very nice to see him come through with a homer, he deserved one.

    With Griffin pitching I don't expect Bautista to get hit. A free agent signed from the minors and having a very good start the season. He has no prior history from the ALDS game. If the game is out of reach, the bullpen will do it in the 7th.

    I never want to see another knuckleballer on this team ever again. A crapshoot pitcher, a million pass balls and a personal catcher, ya no thanks.

    As long as Stro keeps mixing his pitches up I wouldn't expect any other result against the Rays line up. Hopefully he can repeat it against O's and Red Sox. Such a great keap forward for him.

    Well, the line up is kind of s***... As it turns out Colabello was a PED user, Martin is playing through an injury because our backup catcher is Josh f***ing Thole. Our starting 2b who was looking like a legit leadoff bat is still out, and Tulo is regressing haaaard.
