    I think it mostly stems from players coming from a rival team and the drama that may or may not come with it. You've grown for the past 10 years to hate a team and it's players, it's hard to just imagine them on your team. I personally don't like players jumping to other divisional teams, it often just doesn't feel right.

    Dodgers. Like really we complain? Their payroll is DOUBLE ours and they have Clayton Kershaw with no ring to show for it. That's going all in and failing.

    That curveball is so nice to see, he finally has a whiff pitch and he's finding the ability or confidence to pitch to lefties. He's totally on his way to be a #2 starter for any offensive driven team.

    I went to 4 or 5 straight Jays games with freaking RA Dickey starting, it was like a curse. The very first one was on my birthday a few years ago against Seattle and I had the pleasure to watch him implode in the 4th or 5th with a grand slam to freaking Dustin Ackley. They lost like 10-1 or something. Happy Birthday to me.

    Well... depends on the situation. Ex. an open bag to protect against his walks, his K% is legit.

    It still doesn't replace the abysmal thought of watching Dickey pitch another year.

    If Russell Martin breaks down and not able to catch 130 games like we're hoping he does this year, you want Thole to step in as our guy? We might not have pitching depth but we sure as hell don't have catching depth. I'm totally done with Dickey.

    Yea probably not without a second move or something coming back for Dickey.

    I think Hutch would definitely match Dickey pretty close while opening up a back up catcher spot. I don't know what teams would honestly want him and his baggage though (Thole + Heart Attacks). If this team gives RA Dickey a $16M qualifying offer I'm throwing in the towel.

    Martin had a 7 wRC+ in April, 70 wRC+ in May and he's been swinging better the last couple weeks at least.
