I had a dream last night that Russell Martin was playing 2B wearing his catcher's glove. Too bad I don't remember any of the dream except that I woke up in the night from it and couldn't get back to sleep afterward.

I really shouldn't complain about Zeke because as of right now his whopping 2 hits is probably hotter than anyone on the team not named Travis or Tulo.

Seriously, Zeke has a home run & a double back to back games. Now instead of DHing Martin Gibby's finding ways to keep him in the game. Ya know Zekey there he's that spark in the line up.

They won't be able to resign him on a 1 year deal within a week after the season ends, so they'll definitely give him the QO first that's practically a given. I don't think he'll accept considering he wants to know what he's worth on the open market. He's never played that game before and he's not stupid, he's a smart guy and probably looking forward to the process.

Honestly, it won't take much for Red Sox fans to be jumping for joy if EE lands there. He will mash for years in that rinky dink park.

Yep, he's been the leader of this team since about May. Just completely embraced his veteran role after he fought through his slump. Whether that's settling down a pitcher, standing up for his teammates, calling meetings, or just leading by example... all around stud.
