    Yeah exactly, bandwagon fans jump on board when the team starts wining (ie: gets better whether it is via trade or otherwise). So the argument goes, that the diehard fans root for the team no matter what the circumstance whereas the fairweather/bandwagon fans do not. An extreme example are those that have said I hope we go on a big losing streak so that so-and-so gets traded or that AA gets fired etc.

    Many of the posters on this forum have called the jays a .500 team, or a team that might only win 70 games, a team that has no pitching, a team that should trade away Bautista EE and basically "blow up the team" since spring training.... the argument could be made that they are in fact bandwagon fans imo

    I wouldnt want to face Archer in the wildcard. But Tampa would probably be the best team to match up against in a series. O's would be the most fun though.
