  1. LOL...ump has been terrible, for both teams at least.
  2. Just select the international feed, I'm watching it right now.
  3. This is why I'm not afraid of the Royals; no real offensive threat. Leadoff double turns to nothing.
  4. Yep, it's brutally watching him bat. He is a true hacker, and while he certainly works in the Jays lineup, he's going to have to learn how to take a pitch if he wants to maintain or improve his value. I could see opposing pitchers next season throw him nothing but junk to see if he will chase.
  5. Yes, watched part of the Mets/Dodgers game today, and all of the Jays games this past week.
  6. How do you not like 40 Creek? You must drink light beer!
  7. Goes to show why WAR (at least for pitchers) needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Hutch was terrible all year.
  8. Astros strike out way too much to be a real contender, imho. Price and Stro should carve through them.
  9. Hey if you don't ask, you won't get.
  10. But you can say the same thing for Toronto, if not more so. Not saying that Houston is bad, they certainly have some very good players, but Toronto should be able to handle them. In fact, if the Jays play to their usual level I don't think anyone can top them. It's the playoffs, and anything can happen for sure, but all things being equalled I like the Jays chances.
  11. But Price would get the same 2-3 starts, and the Jays offence is much better than Houston. The Astros strike out way too much.
  12. As a father who has adopted two children who have FASD (fetal alcohol spectrum disorder), I find that comment in poor taste, to say the least, completely inappropriate and worthy of a warning, if not more.
  13. How bad does Dickey feel with this AAA lineup?
  14. It's been a LLLLOOOONNNNGGGG time coming! Hard to believe how long it's been since the Jays were legit contenders, it feels so good!
  15. That wasn't very nice of Trout; Montero could really use a home run, poor guy! LOL!!
  16. Depends if you're talking seasons or years, as the '94 strike there was no playoffs so that doesn't count.
  17. Latos designated for assignment...http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/mlb/story/_/id/13680366/los-angeles-dodgers-designate-right-hander-mat-latos-assignment
  18. IT'S NOT LYING IF THEY KNOW THE TRUTH!!!!!!!!
  19. I'll take the over on 150M for Heyward's contract. If the Jays break their MO and go all out, it would have to be for Price. There is no reason to spend that amount of money on the OF, when they have 4 pretty good ones already.
  20. Why? Pillar, Revere, Bautista, Pompey make a pretty good outfield. We only need pitching this offseason.
  21. I'll take Alomar's D over Goins; did you see Alomar play?
  22. I have to say, after watching the Cleveland series, I was pretty impressed by them and kind of wonder how they haven't made more noise in the playoff picture this year. They have some great pitching, and here's hoping they beat KC a lot over this last month. With Cueto seemingly falling apart at the seams, KC might be due for a bit of a losing streak. Can't say I'm in love with their starting pitchers...
  23. Well I agree that Goins is a great defender, and he definitely reminds me at times of Alomar, he is in no way better than Robbie. Alomar is in the HOF in large part for his defence (while obviously being a great hitter, too); he was incredible and there's no way I buy the argument that Goins is at the same level. Whoever thinks that either forgot how good Robbie was or never saw him play.
