TBS rating for last night was 5.92 million up 9% over last year. Even though its 2 smaller market teams they are new teams so people will want to watch a team win that hasn't won before. Having the Cardinals go deep into the playoffs every year turns the causal fans away as they want to see a new team. KC and Baltimore will do that. -
Talk about a crazy night, every team is playing! I'm sure everyone had a little bit of trouble deciding on who to play.

You can also add the team has played 3 preseason games. I know I am guilty of it myself but you can't really take any stock in the preseason. Vasquez and Lou have looked bad defensively but its only been 3 games so there's no point in drawing any conclusions from that. Also they have played 2 terrible teams.

Im liking Brock Nelson so far. Obviously one game is one game but nice to see regardless. I thought he would be good but not this good. Still not sure how I got him on waivers.

I wouldn't call the Jets awful. They actually have a pretty good team but their goalie is s*** so it brings them down, they also play in the best division. If the Jets were in the East I think they would be a top 5 team. That being said I don't think the Kane and Wheeler were great picks but I'm sure we can go back through the draft and point this out 100 different times. I'm sure if we all looked at our own draft boards there are guys that we took later who are better than guys we took in the first 10 rounds.

So dumb that the AHL/NHL doesn't let guys under 20 play in the AHL if they have junior eligibility left. Sucks for the guys like Lazar who are probably best served going to the AHL to develop but can't.

They got lucky as hell last year. Could even see them missing the playoffs with all the talent in the West.

Why would the Yankees want to trade Gardiner? He is one of their best players and the best when including his contract.

6.5 million is deferred and there is a vesting option for a 4th year. Hardy is getting to be old but it is still a good contract for one of the best defensive SS in the game.

So apparently Hardy signed for a 3 year deal with an option for close to 40 million. Pretty cheap deal for the Os.
