The one change that doesn't take long to stabilize is Exit Velocity. And he leads the team right now with an average EV over 96 MPH. Even if his BB/K numbers revert back to the last couple of years he should be a pretty good backup catcher if he can continue to hit the ball hard.
Stras has the best changeup in the world and throws it pretty hard in the high 80s/low 90s. Sanchez's change reminds me of his a little bit with the movement he gets.
They raised their prices a ton so the dropoff isn't as much as you would think in terms of $ lost. TV numbers is much more important than attendance does anyway.
I believe that contract expires at the end of this season.
Yeah Clearwater/Dunedin/St Petes is a great area, I think I'd much rather be there than across the bridge in Tampa. Plenty of good beaches, restaurants, golf courses and baseball.
The Tampa airport is one of the best ones I've been to as well.
Clearwater is one of my fav stadiums in ST. Even then the beers were only $5 I believe. Very nice stadium and pretty cool that you can sit directly behind guys warming up in the bullpen and see the action on their pitches.
3 Times a week is fine for catchers. Honestly catching 5 times/week is such a grind that they'll wear down faster. You can do a lot of development outside the actual games.
