  1. Pretty funny/cool song about the Jays I came across.
  2. C'mon man there is no way Pompey has more talent than Bautista, even Saunders. Pompey has 1 outstanding tool in his speed and he probably can become a good defender with repetition. But the bat is still a huge question mark. And I hate the "5 tool" player classification. You can have a "3 tool" player be better than a "5 tool" player because some tools are worth more than others. Besides the point when has Pompey showed he has an average arm? Even the power hasn't really showed up yet.
  3. Even if you like Pompey as a player why go into the season counting on him as a starter when you have much better options already in place? I don't think there is any doubt Saunders is a better LF than Pompey talent wise, even Revere for that matter. I think what Revere is right now is what you hope Pompey could turn into (talking about next season).
  4. Don't like Qualifying Buehrle and Estrada because of both accept the team is screwed and loses all financial flexibility. I think you offer Price 7/180 and if he turns it down, so be (very likely will). There are other good starters on the market and I think the Jays need to acquire at least 2 good ones to go along with Stroman, Dickey and Hutch. Trading for Chapman would be a waste much rather give Lowe a 5-10 million on a 1 or 2 year deal. For the OF I'd be fine having Pillar/Bautista/Saunders/Revere. I do not want to count on Pompey being a starter.
  5. Andy Reid coach of the year.
  6. Its clear they should have no power to do anything since both were the ones that f***ed up this situation in the first place. He should of been suspended with pay until the legal matter is resolved.
  7. Did everyone wear a piece of tape written with their forum name on their chests?
  8. Balls die in the air in this ballpark. Estrada would be a perfect fit if this was his home park.
  9. lol no one knows what trades will happen...
  10. I don't see Tulo being productive with his current injury in my opinion. I mean maybe if they get to the ALCS but at that point it'll be tough.
  11. Click details on a specific tweet to get the number in the address bar.
  12. yeah swinging the bat seems tough. If there is the chance of making it worse I can't see him coming back when the typical recovery time is months.
  13. Do we know if its his right shoulder or left? If he can barely raise his arm I have a hard time seeing him being able to throw to 1st base if its his right one. This is different than just playing through "pain"
  14. I think what he was saying is if he had the choice of going/not going it would take more than 10k. Wonder what the World Series ticket prices would be if it came down to it. I don't think there would be a ticket cheaper than 1,000 if the Jays could win it at home.
  15. This article makes me skeptical Tulo will be able even 50% of his usual talent. He's probably done for the next few months as well. http://www.bluejaysplus.com/espn-injury-guru-stephania-bell-on-injury-to-troy-tulowitzki/
  16. I think we all knew that this was coming...
  17. You might be able to wait it out lasst minute and get a good deal but you also take a ton of risk. If the demand is crazy you could end up paying even more much like the Price Yankee game a month ago. You can't compare this to the Raptors.. Jays have way more hype/much bigger fanbase than the Raptors and a way bigger playoff drought.
  18. 200 Level Outfield is one of the more underrated spots in the dome. If you have seats closer to CF in the first couple of rows its a really good spot for the price. 242-243 are really good on the Weekend games too because they are in the shade.
  19. lol your still dreaming if you expect to get a ticket for 130 CAD.
  20. Smart trade for Leafs. But don't mistake Lou behind the one behind it, it was all Dubas and his team.
  21. Maybe building the best team in baseball has something to do with it. The poster was just looking at a way to keep Lacava, it really doesn't change anyone's "role". My guess is Lacava would rather be a GM elsewhere and have more control if given the opportunity anyway.
  22. In the past I would say this is BS but I think you are right. If Price has another dominant performance vs the Yankees and Keuchel shits the bed against the Rangers again that can be the difference between their respective teams winning the division. That is a ton of value which most people won't take into account just looking at their numbers.
  23. lol if he wants to use a pick on "that" let him go ahead.
  24. Sent you a PM
  25. I'll take Mike Fisher.
