  1. If that were the case he would still be a Starter right now. By demoting him to the pen I think their stance on him changed. Gibby in the postgame mentioned that you want guys that can limit contact late in the game (referring to Cecil) so I think he's leaning towards more cecil and lowe late in the game.
  2. Amazing read about Votto and his focus on hitting http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/joey-votto-on-aging/ Crazy how underrated he is and I'm surprised he doesn't get talked about more in the media in Canada considering his Nationality. I think he has a decent shot at the HOF but will come down to health as it usually always does.
  3. Weeknight in September will do that. If the Jays played the Yankees on the weekend the prices would be skyhigh. It'd be interesting to hear how many Jays fans come from outside Toronto for weekend games but I'd guess there are at least 10-15k fans coming in from across Ontario for the weekend games. I was talking to my folks neighbour and he took a Viarail from Ottawa down to last Saturday's game and said almost 80% of the entire train ride were Jays fans going to the game.
  4. Maybe it was actually a good thing Sanchez f***ed up last night so Gibby can realize he needs to switch roles around . I think from now on Lowe and Cecil will get the 8th inning depending on the matchup which IMO is the most ideal situation. Hendriks will see the 6th/7th inning when the starter doesn't go 7 or he will finish off the game with a 4-5 run lead. Probably best to use Sanchez in 4+ run lead games with the majority of RHB coming up.
  5. You both are acting like morons about the entire thing.
  6. I think he provides no defensive value so that early in the game he went with Hague. He was saving Cola in case they brought a lefty in to face Smoak later in the game.
  7. now is probably the time to buy playoff tickets. I remember last year reading how KC's ticket prices rose by something like 400% through the postseason because of the success.
  8. Zidlicky and Vermette
  9. Who would of thought the Jays would be a much better team with one of if not the best SS in MLB in the lineup.
  10. I confirm. I believe its number 54
  11. I think trout might beat him in WAR when all is said and done but still don't think he'll beat out JD for MVP
  12. Yeah its a ton to put on the credit card. I probably should of thought about that beforehand lol
  13. I completely forgot he played on the Flyers.
  14. lmao how do you give Bry 35 million after meeting with him for an interview. lol flyers
  15. nice. I got 130A row 12
  16. Im gonna try for a couple
  17. There was probably 5 or 6 misplays. Lets see.. Navarro tag Cecil Buehrle throw Goins error + had another difficult play he usually makes Pennington throw on the potential DP... Thinking there was a 2nd play as well maybe it was the game before.
  18. Your team isn't bad at all. Bishop and Fleury is one of if not the best goal tending tandems which gives you a big edge.
  19. Was Gibby sleeping or what??
  20. I never once said the star players are dumb for a certain approach, nice try
