Heyward's batted ball profile would be a terrible fit for this ballpark though. Hits so many balls on the ground that would be turned to outs here. Heyward has so much potential with the bat. If he changed his swing he could be one of the best players in baseball.
Im all for giving the regulars a day off but I think they should play until the end. You don't want to lose your momentum and there is already going to be a big layoff between the last game and the first game of the postseason.
Anyone at the game go to that garage sale thing in Sec 127? Apparently selling mystery bags with collectibles?I had a friend going to the game who said he could stop by, anything worth buying there?
Why? Look at it from there perspective, the Yankees get 20 times the tv ratings the Jays do in the US so obviously they would have them in the prime slot. Now if it is Jays/Rangers and Royals/Astros then I think its less likely.
Jays have it right when it comes to Canadian players. If they happen to be Canadian great but they are looking for the best players. Raps seem to want to sign Canadian players at all costs and let it factor into their decision.
I think prices will go way down when the announce the time of the games are going to be at 4pm in the afternoon. Everyone now thinks it will be a night game but unless they play the Yankees in the ALDS the Blue jays will be playing the afternoon games.
The seller could sell those same seats to someone on Kijiji. Then if the person on Kijiji beats you to the stadium first you wouldn't get in since someone already used the ticket to scan in the gate. Never had it happen myself but have had it happened to someone I knew at a Habs game.
you can still get screwed. If the seller f***s up you can not get in at the door. Only difference is you get your money refunded if your tickets don't work while Kijiji you can just get your money taken.
Since stubhub is in USD$ the difference in fees really doesn't mean anything for the seller. Say you sold for $200 minus the 25% fee it works out to $150. $150 USD=$200 CAD
