    I would think he gets at least 6/130. I think you are underestimating the FA market. So you aren't going to take that bet?

    Iv actually really liked Cleveland's drafts the last 2 years. I know its probably more Antonetti than Shapiro but its still encouraging you could say.

    Yes. He would get over 100 Million in FA. Have to remember in 2014 he had a 170wRC+ as well. 170!! I'm willing to bet $50 that Tulo puts up over 4 WAR if he plays with the blue jays next year.

    Tulo gets wayyy more than 5/100 on the open market. We are talking about a HOF type talent.

    I'm not sure I fully believe this. Colorado has a pretty bad FO and teams didn't even know they were going to trade him. Just like the Oakland trade, I think teams would of given up a lot more if they knew the FO was going to trade him.

    Unless you are getting a really good package including a young SS can't see Tulo being traded. If you are going to trade a Veteren player EE makes a lot more sense since you could easily acquire a DH or use it as a rest position for the other position players. There really aren't any starting SS out there available.

    Have to remember he also had tons of chances to win the game. I remember off the top of my head at least 3 chances to win the game with runners on base in the bottom of the inning that he failed.

    Game calling I think would have to be included to really get a true measure of catcher ability. But its really something that is so tough to quantify. Navarro seem like a guy who would get a boost by his game calling since he seem to work really well with Buehrle and Estrada.

    He admitted in the interview he was happy with whatever role with the Blue Jays whether it be interim GM or AGM or whatever.

    At the same time I think its clear Shapiro will build the facility for where is best for the Blue Jays franchise, not Blue Jays fans.

    How would this work? I mean if there was a massive piece of land where you could build 2 separate facilities I would be on board but when each team has to build a Major league and minor league facility is there enough space for 2 clubs? I don't want to share a facility with a team, rather just spend the extra money to get a state of the art facility by itself.

    It'd be so weird since all you really know is the Florida teams. By all accounts the Arizona League is the much better one since all the facilities are much closer. Florida might be the easier one logistically since its closer to Toronto and they already have ties there.

    With the cap going up almost every team has the cap space to afford a MAX player. I think they will target the big time FA, whether they actually are able to convince one to sign is another story.

    The ST facility is one of the most important things of a baseball org. and I'm glad he sees that. Building a state of the art facility would help the organization tremendously.

    Said its about the process that is in place so that that he doesn't really need to sign off on every move as the information will all be in place to make the decision.
