    Seems like a waste when you have a battle of like 5 or 6 pitchers for that last spot in the pen who likely will be just as productive. Whoever it is probably isn't seeing meaningful innings anyway..

    Why are you so fixated on age? Shouldn't you look at other factors like position, body durability etc.. Jose might be older but he has the much better body shape and overall fitness level than Encarnacion.

    I don't think anyone is worrying about Baltimore or Cincinnati.. Boston has tons of money and he would be a perfect fit in LF at Fenway. I could see him getting 4/100 maybe even 5/120 if he actually hits FA and has another 4 Win Season.

    I think the Jets are pretty well off as a franchise. The Division they are in is a terror and it sure hasn't helped them. I think they have one of the brighter futures of any team though.
