    I don't think any Jays starters will have inning limits. Its such a dumb thing to have a pre-determined cap for how many innings a pitcher should throw. Stroman won't have any inning limits this year and I doubt anyone else will either.

    Wow I didn't even know Osuna is from the same town where El Chapo was captured. Apparently the gun fight happened literally 3 blocks away. I remember Stephen Brunt was down there for an interview at the time of when it happened but had no idea it was so close.

    Exactly. He's the age of a kid in HS. Still so much room to get stronger and faster.

    Thats true. I think people underestimate how many $ Shapiro put into the FO and development system this year too which likely cut into the Major league payroll. You could hire a high perf. sport science team for the cost of a reliever.

    Are you saying there isn't a correlation with spending and wining? Because there obviously is tons of data that says it does.

    I think the biggest change was his slider was terrible last year and really good in 2014. When hitters only have to worry about 1 pitch its much easier to hit. He could get away with fastballs in the middle up because hitters had to worry about the slider. Edit: He's also had issues with tipping his pitches especially with runners on base. 3.67 FIP with no runners on and a 5.33 FIP with guys on base last year.

    The thing is the blue jays get screwed with the TV contract as Rogers owns SN. Even if it was a different publicly traded company where the TV rights were open for a bidding war the Jays likely get a deal double the one that pays now. I know Canadian TV ratings isn't worth as much as US ones but the NHL got contract got $500 million/season so you could make the argument the Blue Jays would get half of that (which seems crazy high) considering the amount of content it generates.

    Thats where Hutch gets killled. Too much middle of the plate. I feel like broadcasters refer to the middle of the zone as up in the zone too much.

    I think Beeston was always the biggest problem. AA working for a president like Shapiro would have been much better. For all we know Beeston was the one pushing the team to go all in. I remember when AA came into the job he talked about building a sustainable winner much like Shapiro has and then all of a sudden that went out the window in 1 offseason. Ultimately I believe the org. is in a better place now but its not because AA was a bad executive. If you were to add him to the current FO the org. would be much better.

    I hope Saunders was hitting 8th because it was a LHP on the mound today. He's probably the 5th best hitter on the team at least vs RHP and should be hitting in the top 6.

    I think the bat is going to be really good like a 115wRC+ or higher. Big question is how he does in the OF.

    nah that was just a troll. Credit to him for resisting. Lol that post doesn't make me look stupid. I was just asking if anyone thought it was concerning Donaldson didn't have an extra base hit. Someone pointed out he has been dealing with something so it makes more sense.
