    Not even that but he's been one of the best pitchers in the AL.

    I've purchased and re-sold tickets through Stubhub lots of times and they are usually pretty good. As a buyer their customer service is pretty and even if you buy bad tickets they do their best to get you replacement tickets even if they are more expensive than the ones you originally purchased. As a seller the customer service can be bad depending on who you are talking to. The higher level management type is good but the low level employees can be a huge paid to deal with.

    In 2014 and 2015 we had contending teams and I knew a lot about the drafts. I think Kiley leaving Fangraphs has a lot to do with it because ever since he left their prospect coverage has been terrible in terms of producing content.

    No it doesn't. The defensvie upgrade isn't even close to worth as much as the drop off with the bat would be.

    At this point he definitely deserves to make the team. Although I'm sure the team hopes he doesn't go to rest his arm.

    This seems like the least hyped draft in a while. This is the first year since I'd say 2009 where I didn't know most of the 1st rounders.

    His curveball has really become a huge weapon. Especially vs Lefties as he can throw it down and in to get swing and misses.

    He hasn't been bad at all but I hate this who needs David Price when he signed JA Happ BS I keep hearing.

    This is for all of the people who said Happ has been one of the best pitchers on the Jays this year. He is the same Happ as he always was.

    Why the f*** does this "he needs to come to grips with what kind of player he is" always go hand in hand with bunting more often. Bunting isn't going to make him a better offensive player. I'm sure he knows as well as anyone how much he is struggling with the bat and is trying to make the adjustments of fixing it. The thing is this game is really difficult and making those adjustments is pretty damn hard to do. Pillar just likely doesn't have the skill to become a good hitter which is fine because of how good of a fielder and baserunner he is.

    Yeah for sure. His swing is really weird right now and the result has been a top of popups. The plate discipline was actually pretty good through the first month and a half I remember his O-Zone swing rate is around the 30% mark at one point and whiff rate was around 6% but those have climbed lately. His defense is so good you can't take him out of the lineup though so you kind of just hope he can hit enough to not be a complete waste at the plate. He has the best UZR in MLB by a lot and he's had 12 DRS already this year.

    His numbers really haven't changed much tbh. His BABIP is just way way lower, actually striking out less batters and the walks are the same.

    lol Kevin Pillar has a 62 wRC+ and has been the teams 2nd most valuable player with 1.5 WAR. His defense is so good. Darwin Barney up to 1.1 WAR as well. He's definitely not this good of a hitter but I've been impressed with his defense at SS. He might be better than Goins and Tulo at the position (defensively)

    I was fine with Osuna coming into the game considering it was the Red Sox and the middle of the order. The game is worth double pretty much since its against a division opponent. My problem was Gibby letting Estrada start the inning.

    Yeah especially when it came to bunting. He would bunt with a guy on 1st and 1 out IIRC. Drove me crazy. Gibbons is bad pen management but he's still better than half the managers out there.

    Speaking of bad managing how about Farrell taking Ortiz out for a PR on 2nd base down 3 runs.
