  1. Kinzer f***ed up. Basically didn't gauge the market well enough and now its costing his client his number 1 destination. And by the sound of it less money.
  2. I wouldn't. Biagini is quite valuable at league min. and Granderson only has 1 year plus you are paying his salary.
  3. Hopefully the Jays sports medicine dept. can help him stay more healthy. I know Baltimore doesn't have one so perhaps there is something there.
  4. If they told him the offer isn't around for any longer then I can't see how they would lose credibility. As long as you communicate your deadline its only the agent/player's fault.
  5. Better there than Boston.
  6. With his age and injury history I can't see him playing 2nd even if Travis goes on the DL. Maybe in a pinch late in the game but Inside Edge said his defense was pretty terrible there last year so even without the injury history I'm not sure its a great idea. Should be above average at 1st which is good though!
  7. Love the signing. 12 Million for 2 years is barley above bench player money. I don't think I would start him in the Outfield at RC given hisinjury history but he should start most games at 1st/DH and the odd game in LF/RF when they play in Fenway/Yankee Stadium.
  8. I've heard 250 Million which just blows away every other player.
  9. Looks more like 2015 was the outlier than anything, he's been bad for most of his career. Seems that they are valuing exit velocity more than they should if they're actually considering signing him. Even if you want him this would be a move you make in January, not now. The market is full of 1B/DH.
  10. I guess theoretically a team could give him "x" amount as an international signing bonus and then sign him to a monster Major League contract right afterwards. One way to get around the international bonus pool limits.
  11. So Davidi's article mentions Moreland as being seriously considered. Does this FO want another Justin Smoak? I don't get it... http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/encarnacions-return-blue-jays-looking-increasingly-dim/
  12. Edwin would have a full NTC because of 10-5. Also looks bad trading a player so soon after signing them.
  13. I'd say its more about them singing Morales already. They don't want to be stuck with two DHs for 3 years.
  14. Bills on track for another 8-8 season. Basically been the definition of mediocrity since those run of SB losses.
  15. Rendon is really good too (when healthy). I think I'd rather they go after Chapman instead of EE though.
  16. Relax dude... Just a f***ing question.
  17. One thing about Dyson I wonder about is how his numbers would transition to playing at RC. Almost like the opposite of Morales he could lose some of his extra base hits because RC and the AL East have smaller ballparks taking away his Triples and a few Doubles. His defense might not be as great valuable either playing in these smaller (though Pillar might debunk that) Anyone see any studies done on this?
  18. If you have Dyson you can afford to have a Jay Bruce-Jose Bautista type fielder in the other spot too as he and Pillar cover so much ground.
  19. I've been really impressed with his offensive game. The Raps offensive efficiency when he's on the floor is through the roof.
  20. Raps are so good.
  21. Think I'll go to Miami to watch the WBC. Canada, USA and Domnican make for a pretty stacked round 1.
  22. Of the Sub chains I find Quiznos is the best hands down. In the US Firehouse is really good too.
  23. Judging by who pitched for the team the last WBCs there will be plenty of spots. Volgensong, mitchell boggs, David Hernandez, Tim Collins, Ross Detwiler, Vinnie Pestano to name a few. A lot of the big names don't even go. WBC would be the perfect opportunity to have multiple starters and just have them pitch 1 time through the order.
  24. Have to think he would choose USA first considering he's pitched for them in the past and thats his actual country lol.
  25. I wonder how many Jays will play in the WBC. I think I saw Stroman is going to pitch for USA. Other possibilities. USA- Donaldson, Sanchez.. JD might skip out because of the injuries he has last year and is getting older. Mexico- Osuna, Estrada Dominican- Liriano Canada- Martin, Pompey.. I doubt Martin goes to play this time considering he didn't go last time Saunders and EE probably play for their respective countries but who knows if they'll be back.
