    Yeah makes no sense at all. Varsho was a great defensive CF and instead you lose a ton of his value sticking him in LF. Then you go out and double down on a no hit defensive corner postion player in IKF. Worst part about is they are making 17.5M combined.

    KK bat speed looks slower this year. Lots of swing and miss in the zone to start the year.

    Great play by Ernie even getting to that ball. Are we sure he isn't a better defender than IKF? lol

    To be honest that lineup still looks like crap lol. But yes IKF should not be starting.

    Its sad that 3 games into the season the lineup already looks like trash. At least Ernie is in there, but 4-9 is pretty puke worthy for a team trying to compete.

    The lineup 5-9 is pretty crap overall. In an ideal situation Varsho would be hitting 8th/9th. Kirk is really the only hitter better than him and you need to spread out the LHB so Varsho makes sense at 5th but yeah the lineup looks super weak halfway down. KK and IKF are really terrible fits for this roster as both guys are number 9 hitters at best.

    I heard there is talk of another renovation for the next offseason lol. But I think the would be much smaller in scale so likely wouldn’t need to start on the road.

    Also s*** in his first and third innings lol. He's fine as a mop up guy when you're losing but he shouldn't get any meaningful innings. Especially with how slow he is to the plate, guys are gonna run all over him.

    Parsons is so unathletic lol. There was nothing comfortable at all about him fielding that groundball. Jays defence horrible all game.

    Nice to see Vladdy getting another hit. Him hitting like this is the best possible outcome for the offence this year.

    The transfer doesnt seem awful but zero carry on the last few throws I've seen, ball just dies 3 quarters of the way to the bag. You think the team would put him on a throwing program in the offseason.

    Reminds me of Rob Rasmussen. Guy actually had good stuff and was good in a blowout yet would crumble in any sort of leverage, just didn't have it mentally.

    If Parsons is going to be a Major League arm he's going to need to develop an out pitch because he isn't getting anything by guys with 2 strikes.

    The throw was fine, Vladdy just completely whiffed on the ball.

    I'm saying yesterday he looked like he has his entire career up to this point, which is below average command. I'm not telling any tales out of school here...

    Even though the result was decent yesterday he looked more of the same to me. Not much command of the fastball or secondary pitches. If he can at least get some consistency in his stuff outing to outing you can live with the below average command, but last year one day he would be 98-99 and then the next time 95-96 and get shelled.

    5-9 is just putting up terrible Abs. They really need another good bat in this lineup, KK can't be hitting 7th.

    At least Berrios looks great. Almost a carbon copy of the last postseason game, except the Jays hitters aren't even getting on base in this one lol.

    This lineup is just pathetic to watch. Tons of hittable pitches and just terrible ABs, nothing hit hard.
