In all fairness, they really arent comparable as relievers at all other than points 1 and 2. Janssen was a completely different kind of pitcher and had at least 5 pitches he used in his mix (4 if you throw out the change) not very typical for a back-en reliever. The majority of his strikeouts were the product of hitters guessing at what was coming next as his stuff was meh across the board. The 67% to 48% groundball rate is quite the discrepancy as well. I can see where Grant is coming from when he says they are nothing alike and would tend to agree with him.

It really seems like you want him to fail to justify your prediction that he's a terrible starter......maybe it's just me but that vibe comes from many on this site -

not to mention the pension is pretty decent, I think its over 200k a year for 10 year vets. Whats crazy is one day in the majors nets you lifetime healthcare coverage, 43 days nets you minimum pension of 34k a year.

Its kind of ironic that he calls Bats a disgrace and then immediately acts likes a complete disgrace with how he structured his comments. Its also amusing how he references "how do you explain to your kid" while dropping F-Bombs. While I find this interview hilarious, he's the last person that should be speaking out about class and lessons for children
