Some of what Jim wrote is correct here, except the absolutist statement at the end that is so presumptuously written. "a business will not make a decision that goes against that maintaining and expanding objective. end of story, nothing else matters."
Pompous statements like these that you constantly revert too in many of your posts/arguments are why you are labeled as the board "pretend know it all". The business world is littered with examples of terrible decisions by leaders/CEOs that have had crippling financial implications. To attempt to frame this otherwise under the guise of "you think you know better than a CEOs?" is nonsensical.
ConnorP example of Disney choosing woke is just the most recent, which on the surface could become prohibitively costly for them just on the tax implications alone, without even considering the impact on the customer base.
I have no doubt your attempted retort will just further entrench your position on this, while also reaffirming your superior intelligence to all of us though...
