  1. Rogers bought Skydome for 25 Million
  2. for his career he has put up a wRC+ of 72 and 63 in medium/high leverage situations respectively. Hes a big fat strong guy who when squares up to a fastball can crush it. His bat speed is his biggest asset by far but the fact that he can't recognize a pitch to save his life and has a uber negative impact positionally makes him a piece of s*** player. He's terrible, and anyone who argues differently is lacking in baseball assessment skills.
  3. not to mention the fact that all of his HR's were in low leverage situations, he put up a wRC+ of 8 in high leverage situations, which just indicates further that he can't hit for s***, especially when it matters
  4. he put a wRC+ of 53 with a K rate of 32.8%, how you could spin that any way other than terrible is nuts
  5. not in the 2nd half he wasnt, he was historically awful
  6. I would hire JP cause he looks like a douche.........to run the janitorial staff
  7. The Canadian dollar has only dropped 8.7% this year. Lets not exaggerate in both term and amount meow.
  8. That would be amazing, highly doubt the Royals would do that though.
  9. lol that was great! Rafi is awesome, I enjoyed the first "Rafi" episode, Rafi and dirty Randy go to Vegas, the 2nd one where he meets dirty randy wasnt as funny. Your avatar is great btw, and Archer is also one of the funniest shows on TV. Hurl, you are so right, some people just dont get that brand of humor and will just find Rafi offensive, but to me, and most with a good sense of humor, he is hilarious.
  10. primewire.ag has every show ever made, and movie as well. Just make sure you use adblocker or the porn/penis enlargement ads can be annoying.............. The league is one of the funniest shows on tv. Raffi is the best!!!!
  11. Does anyone else want to punch that faaace?
  12. i did mention it in another post, I still think the Jays should wait and see with Sanchez. Gamble? yes, but his s*** is just too nasty to not let it play out and see if he develops his ability to "pitch" with said s***
  13. Yes it would, but I could see a similar line to Drew's first year before he got hurt, 1.5-2 WAR in 150 innings
  14. their numbers (xFIP) are very similar in low ball, with Sanchez having a superior K% (excluding his dominant year in AAA prior to his flop year)
  15. But it is, watch him pitch, hes better than league average by quite a bit. Kid knows how to set hitters up and induce weak contact
  16. I wouldnt deal Tehran for 1 year of Zobrist, nor would I with Sanchez. IF the jays were in the mix for Hamels, and Sanchez was part of the package, that would be a different story
  17. his xFIP- from the last 2 years is 97, which is pretty solid
  18. oops thought i read 1.02
  19. not sure where you got that from, his MLB career xFIP is 3.81
  20. You can honestly say that for 98% of pitching prospects. My thoughts are you really can't learn stuff, you can learn to pitch though.
  21. Just to illustrate how advanced stats are not the be all end all, said player in my scenario was Julio Tehran of the Braves. Alot of posters on the Braves site thought he was going to be a bust after that repeat year in AAA and his early MLB numbers. People talk a ton about Sanchez' K-rate/ Swingstrike % being low, but he almost exclusively throws fastballs right now. He has better pure stuff than Julio, who is a pretty fine pitcher for the Braves. Im in the camp of holding on to Sanchez to see if he can learn to "pitch" with his amazing stuff.
  22. I look at Sanchez and see insanely good stuff, his FB is ++, his curve is deadly, change-up needs work, but he has top of the rotation stuff with control issues.
  23. given up is probably the wrong term, lets assume its the same feeling people have on Sanchez then
  24. 7-9 5.08 era 131 ip 97 k 43bb WHIP 1.47
  25. I assume you are one of the pro Keep Sanchez guys then?
