    the reason i ask, is it seems so many of the members on this site focus solely on advanced pitching stats, which I agree are a useful tool for measuring a pitcher, but are only 50% of the equation to evaluation of a pitcher. For the stats I posted in the scenario listed, would you give up on said pitcher? (21yrs old) who posted a FIP of 4.79, 9.4% K/BB% in his 2nd full season of AAA ball

    what exactly would make MB a good pitching coach? I read somewhere he hasnt shaken off a pitch in 15 years.......what would his advice be? throw whatever the catcher calls.....at 80 MPH MB will be a dog trainer when he retires

    This arguably seems to be the biggest area of need left for the Jays after AA went ninja style this off-season. Their are few options left that are established and could close for the Jays (Romo, Miller, K-Rod, Neshek, Soriano). I also wouldnt be opposed to bringing back Morrow in a relief role if its a 1 year deal. Anyone have idea's who the Jays should target to fill the bullpen?

    lester isnt coming to Toronto, his first choice would be atlanta considering he is from there, the jays would have to massively overpay and give 7 or 8 years which is against team policy....not happening

    Its funny, people bitched when the Jays sucked that they never signed players to make the team competitive. When the Jays finally are competitive, people bitch this team should be blown up. Same goes for Raps Leafs.....Why not enjoy the possibility that this team at least has a decent shot next year to make the playoffs?

    taxes arent really that big of a difference for most states (florida excluded), it has more to do with the perception of Canada some americans have. Eskimos and igloo's. http://www.investopedia.com/financial-edge/0411/do-canadians-really-pay-more-taxes-than-americans.aspx Braves are probably going to rebuild with their young core, and Upton is not included. Jason Heyward and Evan Gattis are also available but will cost pitching prospects as the Braves system is sorely lacking high end pitching talent.
